Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case: Karni Sena Chief Detained For Demanding CBI Inquiry

People across the nation are demanding CBI investigation for Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case to know the truth behind his suicide. According to news reports, Delhi Police on Sunday, August 16, arrested Suraj Pal Amu, the convener of fringe group Karni Sena, for organising a protest which violated cautionary restrictions taken to curb the spread of COVID-19. Amu was among hundreds who gathered at India Gate demanding a CBI inquiry into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

The Delhi Police have detained Amu for organising the mass gathering without taking any permission. However, Amu said that the protests will continue till Sushant does not get justice and arresting him will not have any impact on the protests outside. Sources also claim that the Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai will interrogate some more people today.
