The award winning Telugu television presenter and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj has become a household name with her energetic and glamorous stint as a TV host plus actress. The host turned actress is known for speaking out her mind and recently during an interactive session on Instagram with her fans, she went on and made a bold declaration. When asked if she would be willing to shave her head if she landed a role in a big film, Anasuya Bharadwaj said, “Surely…if needed.” Talking as a true director’s actor and placing the requirement of the script as her topmost priority, the dedication of the actress is commendable.
The Jabardasth host is currently involved with the much anticipated project Pushpa: The Rise. The multilingual action thriller stars superstar Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role and Fahadh Faasil as the negative character.
The makers of the film have released the first look of Anasuya Bharadwaj who will be playing the role of Dakshayani. Her look for the character of Dakshayani looks pretty intense and interesting and the initial glimpse showcases arrogance and vanity. The poster was released with the caption that Dakshayani is ‘arrogance and pride personified’.
Anasuya has been constantly occupied and active throughout her career. Recently she ran for an executive position in the MAA Movie Artists Association, that was held this year, from the Prakash Raj panel but was defeated.
The host turned actress has made her place in the Telugu entertainment industry and has defied all stereotypes about a married woman with children. She has excelled in the show business without having a star background and apart from having a stunning screen presence, the talented actress isn’t afraid to speak her mind about social issues.
It will be interesting to witness Anasuya in the role of Dakshayani in the first part of Pushpa, a much anticipated project that is written and directed by Sukumar and will be released on 17th December 2021 .
