We often see the biggest star in the music industry taking a stand on something really personal yet universal. In this regard, Shawn Mendes recently performed at the “We Can Survive” Concert in Los Angeles, which raised money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The organisation claim to assist those who have been touched by suicide by fostering a sense of community, providing knowledge, and advocating for action against this major cause of death.

During his concert, the 23-year-old singer said that he will be taking a sabbatical from TikTok, a video-sharing app. According to a news portal, the singer added, TikTok is amazing, but he has an insane social media addiction, so he has to really balance himself out. As a result, he has to delete those programmes from time to time.

The singer talked about his challenge to discover new activities outside of music back in September. During a podcast interview, Mendes confessed that he’s having trouble finding new hobbies. He claims that the real reality is that he struggles to lay down the guitar and figure out what he wants to accomplish other than his profession and music. Shawn stated that he is now investigating interests and that he has taken up archery as a result of watching Game of Thrones. He learned archery by watching all seven seasons of Game of Thrones, and he just wanted to live the life of Rob Stark, he explained.

Shawn Mendes’ “Wonder” world tour doesn’t start until 2022, but fans can get a preview peek at what to anticipate with a special Messenger virtual performance. Shawn Mendes: A Wonder Concert & Conversation is now available to stream on Watch Together, Instagram, Messenger, and Mendes’ official Facebook Page. Mendes performs songs from his latest album, Wonder, and engages in discussions on activism and change with special guests Miguel and King Princess during the hour-long show.
