Actress Raashi Khanna took to Instagram on Bhai Dooj to wish her brother on the ocassion. In the fun post the actress also apologised to her cousin for pulling her hair as seen in their childhood picture
The Bhai Dooj festival that is celebrated two days after Diwali, celebrates the love and the bond of brothers and sisters. Many celebrities took to social media to express their love for their siblings on the occasion of Bhai Dooj and posted pictures. One such celebrity is the lovely actress Raashi Khanna. The Jil actress in a fun Instagram post had put up a childhood picture of herself with her brother and cousin and in the caption of the post, the actress is seen apologising to her cousin Kriti Malhotra for pulling her hair.
The actress spoke about her special bond with her brother Raunaq Khanna in the caption of the post and wrote that she has always turned to him in crisis. The actress further wished her brother a very Happy Bhai Dooj and wrote that she loves him a lot. Raashi is also seen sharing a fun bond with her cousin Kriti in the picture. The Supreme actress went on to apologise to her cousin for pulling her hair in the childhood picture that she had uploaded. The actress jokingly also wrote that the apology was long due.
Bhai Dooj that is also celebrated as Bhau Bheej and Bhai Phota in different parts of India, is quite similar to the festival of Raksha Bandhan as it is too a celebration of the bond of brothers and sisters. In this festival the main ritual is the sister putting Tika or Tilak on the brother’s forehead and then she goes on to pray for his happiness, health and prosperity.
Talking about the future projects that involve Raashi Khanna, the most anticipated film is ‘Thank You’ where she will be seen alongside Naga Chaitanya. The Telugu film, directed by Vikram Kumar and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, is generating positive hype around itself and it is also reported that the project will be completed soon. The actress will also be seen in an upcoming Tamil film Thiruchitrambalam starring superstar Dhanush.
