Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie snapped together after Mission Impossible 7 shoot ends

Director Christopher McQuarrie penned an emotional message for the Mission Impossible 7 crew on the wrapping up of its shooting. McQuarrie shared the news on his Instagram handle expressing his incredulous feelings after having completed what he feels was an arduous task.

He shared a long message for the crew which he says is the “best in the world”. The Tom Cruise-starrer ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ completed its shooting recently after two years since it was announced. The filmmaker gave a shout-out to his crew, calling them ‘best in the world’. He was overwhelmed with gratitude for the cast and crew, whose spirit made the seemingly “impossible” task achievable and helped them get through. 

Christopher McQuarrie is all praise for Tom Cruise

Christopher McQuarrie posted a candid picture of himself with the lead actor Tom Cruise. In the picture, they were seated on what looked like the dilapidated remains of a train. Tom Cruise looked his signature dashing and handsome self with shades on. The duo seemed to be deep in conversation in the picture. As per reports, it was clicked after a heavy stunt shooting sequence in Derbyshire in England.  Christopher McQuarrie also wrote: “All you need is good people”. He then praised his cast and crew and called them “indomitable, unstoppable, unrelenting”.

The shoot was indeed a mission “impossible”

What made this shoot ‘impossible’ was, needless to say, the pandemic and its various restrictions. The shooting was delayed multiple times due to the strict lockdown norms. It didn’t help that the shoot took place in various parts of Italy, Norway, and England. Fans will recall the viral audio clip where Tom Cruise could be heard lashing out at the crew members for violating COVID-19 protocols. Despite the safety measures, in June this year, 14 people from the crew tested positive for coronavirus.

Mission impossible 7 is set to release on September 30, 2022. The movie also stars Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Frederick Schmidt alongwith the lead Tom Cruise.
