The “If you love me then say it” moment from Mere Humdum Mere Dost
When Aiman’s father leaves her in the care of his friend Haider, she does not intend to fall in love but she ends up falling for him. But due to their huge age gap, he never accepts it. In one of the episodes, Aiman is tired of the whole charade and just wants her lover to either accept the love or leave her. Aiman decides to leave Haider’s house and she packs her bags. Haider calls her by her nickname”Ima” and she immediately tells him to not use it. She says that the nickname is only used by the person who loves her, so he has no right to call her by that name. Haider says he knows she is angry with him. She says, “Naarazgi toh rishton mein hoti hai, Haider sahab aur aapke aur mere beech mein koi rishta hi nahi jiske balboote pe hum aapse naaraz ho.” We feel you, girl!

A love triangle where the heroine is forcefully married to the bad guy when she loves the good guy, only to end up falling for baddie after marriage – this show is everyone favourite romantic drama. While Azhar is Zulfishan’s lover before marriage, Sayed Alam Khan is the one who makes Zulfishan a woman. “Love is not the only thing in life” moment in Teri Berukhi
Alina and Numair are married for 18 years and have two kids when Alina decides to leave him after many fights. Numair remarries and finds some peace in his new relationship with Shahtaj until Alina comes back home. In one of the scenes, we see how the house and its people have changed since Shahtaj’s arrival. Numair sees a pile of clothes neatly folded and kept on the side of his bed and smiles. Alina notices it and asks him why he’s smiling. Numair says that those clothes represent the peace and fluidity that Shahtaj has brought with her in his life. A jealous Alina quickly asks him if he has forgotten her love to which Numair says that there are many things in life apart from love and that love is not the only main thing that can give joy.

Gohar might have been in a Cinderella type of situation where her aunts and cousins mistreat her and the only one good to her is her Nani, but she’s definitely not naive like the Disney princess! She is a tough and perky girl who often fights back even if it by adding extra spices in kebabs and coming up with new nicknames! Gohar is a simple girl who also spends her nights reading stories about dashing men and drools over them all the time! In one of the scenes where Nani tries to get her to study, Gohar completely ignores her and actually starts ranting about the hero in her book and how nice life would be to have someone like him in her life! Tum Kon Piya is a tragic love story of Elma and Ramish. When Elma is married off to Zarhab, Ramish attends the wedding and then leaves. The two lovers are sad that they cannot be together. When they meet soon after, in private, Elma asks Ramish to do her a favour and forget her face, her smile and her worries. Even though she is the one who is in the sadder situation as she is now married to a man she does not love and someone who will not love her, she worries for Ramish and asks him to be alright and forget her at once so that he can live his life! The rich and influential Falak is obsessed with Salman and marries him. But when she discovers that he is cheating on her with another woman who is poor, she spirals. She has a lot of breakdowns and goes through a journey of self-doubt and comes out with a stronger connection to Allah than before. She recognises how selfish and materialistic she was and transforms as a person. In one of the scenes, Nani asks her about her future and Falak tells her that she’s unable to figure out what to do next. She mentions that Salman called her several times and so did his mother but she adds, “Par mera dil uth sa gaya hai Salman se.” If this isn’t moving on then we don’t know what is!

“Don’t leave me alone, I saw a lizard” moment Aunn Zara
Aunn and Zara have a very unlikely marriage but fate brings them together. Just after marriage, they are made to spend many nights in a village together as per custom hence they arrive at one of their relative’s house. This is the time they start getting closer to each other too! On one of the nights, Aunn spots a lizard in the room and refuses to be alone! Meanwhile, Zara agrees to spend the night with Dadi but Aunn very comically tries to convince her to stay back! When Zara tells him that she cannot deny her Dadi, he says that she cannot deny her shauhar either! He brings out the shauhar card, guys! This adorable moment definitely reminds us of the lovey-dovey times with our loved ones!
