Watch: Ranveer Singh Shoots With VVS Laxman For Something Special, Actor Shares Pics

Ranveer Singh’s love for cricket is quite evident to his fans. He is often spotted cheering the Indian cricket team in the tournaments. Recently, Ranveer Singh took to his official Instagram handle to share pictures with legendary Indian cricketer VVS Laxman as the duo shoot for a commercial for the ongoing IPL 2021.

The duo has recently worked together for an ad campaign. Ranveer shared pictures with the cricketer and has mentioned in the caption that he had a good time shooting with the legendary cricketer. The actor talked about the fun banter which happened between them on sets. Ranveer shared a picture where the duo is captured candidly.

In the picture, he can be seen wearing a black t-shirt paired with black ripped jeans. On the other hand, VVS Laxman can be seen sporting a red and white-hued jersey. In the first picture, they both can be seen happily striking a pose for the camera while in the other picture, the duo can be seen interacting with each other and Laxman can be seen holding a cricket bat.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh would be next seen in the upcoming film 83, which is based on India’s cricket world cup win in the year 1983. While Ranveer Singh will essay the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, Deepika Padukone will play the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia in the film. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film is scheduled to hit the big screens on 4th June, 2021. The film was supposed to release last year but got delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Apart from 83, Ranveer will also be seen in Cirkus and Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
