Weekly TRP Report: Anupamaa Maintains Its Number One Position; While Udaariyaan Breaks Through In Top Two Shows

We know that Indian television serials are still the most loved medium of entertainment for audiences and fans and more importantly a show’s content, starcast and storyline are nowadays assessed by the netizens and audiences whose decision can either make a show superhit or turn it into a flop as well and any show today is incomplete without dramatic twists and turns along with the love triangles and schemings where every person has their own set of favorite serials and on-screen couples whose romance they want to explore more on the screens.
The success or failure of any show today is determined by the TRP Ratings that gives us an insight into which shows are making their place in the top 10 list that keeps on changing every week.
1. Anupamaa: Like every week, even this time, ace producer Rajan Shahi’s hit serial Anupamaa has been in the top position with 4.1 ratings as compared to last week’s 4.3 ratings in the charts.
2. Udaariyaan: Udaariyaan has overthrown Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin which was consistently in the second position to the third position and gained 3.1 ratings compared to last week’s 2.7 ratings. Audiences were seen getting hooked to the current track which saw how Fateh makes a sham of a marriage with Jasmin to punish her and also goes ahead to tell Tejo’s parents that he did this marriage so that she can move on in life.
3. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: The hit Indian serial that has an ensemble starcast of Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Ayesha Singh, and others has slipped from the second position to the third spot in the charts with 3.1 ratings compared to last week’s 3.2.
4. Imlie: With an ensemble starcast of Sumbul Touqeer, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Mayuri Deshmukh it also got Apna Time Bhi Aayega fame hunk actor Fahmaan Khan on board but compared to last week’s third position with 3.2 ratings the show has slipped one number down to the fourth position with 2.8 ratings in the top ten list.
5. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Compared to last week’s fourth spot with 2.6 ratings, this week the longest-running Indian television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has slipped down to the fifth spot with the same ratings in TRP charts. This is true that ever since the leap, viewers, and fans are loving the current track which is showing Abhimanyu, Akshara, and Aarohi’s love angle in the show.
