Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla: Mohit’s Mother Demanding For Dowry Could Be The Final Straw For Salvis!

In Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla, we witnessed a social issue that should have never existed in the first place, but sadly still does – the dowry system. That’s right, Mohit’s mother demanded a hefty price for Mohit and Sweetu’s marriage, leaving the poor Salvis shocked. We think her demanding dowry could be the final straw for the Salvis. They could finally realize that Mohit may not be the best guy for Sweetu after all, read on.

Mohit has never given us a reason to believe that he might actually be good for Sweetu. He is marrying her for all the wrong reasons and we hate that. He does not even like her, he keeps body-shaming her, calls her fat and often points out how certain clothes ‘don’t suit her’.

If all of this was not enough, Mohit does not even show humanity towards her. One time, he left her alone in a shady place just because she defended Omkar. Sweetu would not have been able to make it out safely if it weren’t for Omkar. Despite all this, Shaku still wanted her to marry Mohit.

Mohit’s mother is also like that, she keeps calling out the Salvis for being poor and for living in a shanty place. Despite knowing their financial condition, she had the nerve to demand a car, a fridge and a television in the form of dowry. Then she went on to state that Sweetu will only have to wear a saree after marriage and she cannot wear a Salwar suit anymore.

So far, the Salvis have been silent and they’ve put up with everything the Parabs have thrown at them. But demanding dowry was definitely a stretch and it could finally make the Salvis realize Mohit is not right for Sweetu. She deserves someone who appreciates her just the way she is, who loves her family like his own, who would do anything for her happiness and safety, someone like Omkar. Right?
