Lal Jose is a Malayalam drama movie & a full family entertainer directed by Kabeer Puzhambram. It features Mohammed Shariq and Ann Andria in the lead roles. The movie's central theme is the turning point in the life of a young man who adores cinema and filmmakers, especially the renowned Malayalam filmmaker, Lal Jose. The veteran director is well-known for his smash hits like 'Meesa Madhavan,' 'Classmates,' 'Achanurangatha Veedu,' 'Rasikan,' 'Mulla,' and 'Kerala Cafe.' In this movie, the protagonist is a fan of Director Lal Jose's films and is living with the desire to direct a film like him, however he has many obstacles to surpass.

A rom-com with an emotional connect

The protagonist Nandu who tries to make it big in the film industry as a director also has to battle financial issues at home and look after his younger sister who is a patient. While trying to get his place, Nandu meets Nithya with whom he falls in love. But Nithya misunderstands Nandu while he plays a mediator for his friend's love. While struggling to find a producer for the movie, Nandu gets trapped by a person who promises to find him a producer and takes money from Nandu. He gives away the money that he had kept aside for his sister's operation. The struggle he faces to make his dream come true is the crux of Lal Jose.
