The high-octane action-drama film Thayige Thakka Maga will release on 11 May 2019 on ZEE5 platform starring Sumalatha Ambareesh, wife of the Rebel Star Ambareesh and Krishna Ajay Rao. From the title name, you must have understood the main plot of the film is the intense bond of mother and her son. So much so, that their temperaments and personalities too are very much similar. During the release of the film, it was rumoured that the film was based on a real-life incident. But in an interview with a leading daily, the director clarified this notion by saying, “I leave it up to the audience to infer if there is a direct connect to any recent event. In India, there are many cases of kids from political families getting into brawls, scams, etc., and often using or misusing the clout they have. So, I can give you any number of examples. If audiences feel that it rings a bell in the context of the Bengaluru politician, then maybe it is or not. To figure that out, they will have to see the film.”

Unlike, his previous films, the 39-year-old actor had to go through a complete image transformation for his 25th film, Thayige Thakka Maga. A piece of definite good news for this actor’s female fan following, wouldn’t you say?
