Prema Entha Madhuram: Is Arya being a bit too narrow-minded about Anu?

Prema Entha Madhuram stars  Varsha HK as Anu and Sriram Venkat as Arya, who no longer see eye to eye because Arya is mad at Anu for wearing a dress, and not the Rajanandini saree for the launch of their new line. He doesn’t even talk to Anu or tells her that he is upset with her. He replaces Anu with Meera as the representative of Rajanandini Sarees, all because Anu wore a dress.

We understand he would be upset because Anu did not wear the saree he wanted her to wear. But he might be overreacting and blowing it out of proportion as he refuses to confess his love for her to his mother, all because she was not wearing a saree. Arya has always been supportive of Anu and her choices, and he also says that he trusts her the most. Meanwhile, he wouldn’t even care to ask her why she chose to not wear the saree and gave it to Meera.

He has known both Meera and Anu for some time now, which means that he knows how manipulative Meera can be. He did not even think about how Meera got her hands on the saree, and why Anu is wearing Meera’s dress. Anyone who knows them would know that Meera certainly has something to do with this.

Apart from this, even if it was Anu’s choice to wear a dress, he should not have any objection because it doesn’t decide who she is. She is a young woman, who should be allowed to do what she wants without any judgement. You would think that someone as forward-thinking as Arya would be open to it, but he failed to understand this. We would love for them to talk it out since they are clearly in love with each other!
