He stated that his family, friends and fans have been very helpful and supportive in this difficult time and he is very grateful for their prayers and wishes. Sachin Tendulkar also specifically thanked the doctors and nurses that assisted him and kept him in the right frame of mind in the last few days.

Sachin Tendulkar said that he was making this video specifically to send out an important message which was given to him by his doctors. He further added that he will be donating his blood once his doctors give him a green signal on the matter.
