Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: Vanni Kapoor Talks About Her Greatest Fear While Shooting For Her Ayushmann Khurrana Co-Starrer; Deets Inside

Vanni Kapoor has been rejoicing in the success of her latest film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which was released recently. Vanni is seen in the film playing the role of the transwoman in the film. Abhishek Kapoor is the director of the film. The story follows a bodybuilder from Chandigarh who falls in love with a Zumba instructor. Ayushmann Khurrana and Vanni are seen sharing the screen.

During an interview, Vaani Kapoor stated quite clearly that she had no fear about accepting the part when it was offered to her. She was also heard revealing her biggest worry about portraying the part. According to Vaani, the role necessitates extensive emotional preparation. While preparing for her role, she stated she spoke to a lot of people, including trans females, and even had a video called those who encountered comparable experiences. Not only that she had also watched a lot of documentaries, series, and movies from the 1990s and 2000s as part of her research for the role.

While expressing her fears Vaani said that her biggest fear or rather a concern was that what if the transgender community does not welcome her. But thankfully the things were very positive and the responses she got from the community were really great. The actress also met Simran Sahni who came to her with the film concept with her two daughters who were also transgirls and they were also thrilled with the film. Not only that her father also complimented her after watching the film. Even one of the designers Saisha Shinde praised Vaani in one of her posts where she was also going through a similar phase as her character Maanvi was in the movie.

Vaani Kapoor made her debut in Bollywood with the film Shuddh Desi Romance, which also starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. She later starred alongside Ranveer Singh in the film Befikre, which was released in 2016. She was last seen in War opposite Hritik Roshan after taking a break. Vaani was last seen opposite Akshay Kumar in a digital film. For her outstanding performances, the actress has received numerous honors.
