The Bollywood actress skipped appearing before the court by giving un-well medical conditions. Kangana Ranaut’s advocate Rizwan Siddiquee put forth her application that stated that the actor was travelling and she was also under the weather. The lawyer also said that the actor had already stated that her application could be recorded by her lawyer. It points towards that her presence was not required.
Even though her advocate said this, the court said that Kangana Ranaut, who is being accused by Javed Akhtar, should appear before the court to put forth her side. Ranaut not, agreeing to this has alleged that the Magistrate has been harassing her. She even approached the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court to ask if they can transfer Akhtar’s complaint be to another court.
Nevertheless, that was rejected by the officials. Later, she went to Dindoshi court with the same request but returned unsatisfied. Her lawyer, Siddiquee told the court on January 4, that the actress Kangana Ranaut would be approaching the Bombay High Court now. However, Javed Akhtar’s lawyer opposed the plea of Siddiquee in the recent hearing.
Now, the court has decided to keep that application for a further hearing on February 1. Jay Bharadwaj, Akhtar’s lawyer also made sure that his application to issue a Non-Bailable Warrant against Ranaut for non-appearance before the court should be heard in court. At last, the court pledged to look into both these issues on the next date of the hearing.
