Recently in an interview, Farah revealed why was Amitabh Bachchan not able to participate in the romantic anthem from Om Shanti Om – ‘Deewangi Deewangi ‘.She told me it was because of his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Salman Khan, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Lara Dutta, and Kajol were among the 31 Bollywood celebs who appeared in SRK’s song, yet Amit Ji was absolutely missing. Farah Khan, the director-choreographer behind ‘Om Shanti Om,’ disclosed some previously unknown insights regarding her song ‘Deewangi Deewangi.’ Deepika Padukone made her debut with the film. Farah recently revealed that megastar Amitabh Bachchan was going to be in the song.

Farah had approached Big B and other celebs to be a part of SRK’s song ‘Deewangi Deewangi,’ which included a lot of actors in special appearances. However, some of them were unable to join the special appearance. Farah said that Raveena Tandon was unable to perform the song due to her pregnancy, but renowned actor Dev Anand rejected the idea, adding, he didn’t do guest appearances. Big B, on the other hand, had said, that he was unable to appear in the song because Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were getting married in the same month.

Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar were also on the team’s wish list for the song, she added. She even revealed that SRK promised to personally get them, but that plan fell through. According to the director, the song was shot in a systematic way, with five stars per day and two hours given to each of them. She also said that was the only time when SRK used to be on time for shoots, sarcastically.

Farah’s fans are awaited to watch the Rajesh Khanna Biopic which will be released by her in late 2022.
