Aditya Chopra Provides Saathi Card To Aid Hindi Film Industry’s Daily Wage Earners

Aditya Chopra has also planned to roll out vaccines to the Hindi Film fraternity which helped shoots to restart after Covid-19 restrictions had been levied to a certain extent.
Yash Raj Films, the biggest production house of India has been in the frontline for providing aid to the Hindi film industry’s daily wage earners. To retain this beyond the norms of Covid-19, Aditya Chopra has launched a Saathi Card. The has been designed under the grounds of providing universal basic support to all wage earners of Bollywood, under the banner of the Yash Chopra Foundation. The card helps the workers and gives them health insurance, school fee allowance, ration supply, annual health check-ups among other benefits to them and to their families.

Anyone above the age of 35, and a part of the Hindi Film Federation in Mumbai are eligible to apply for the Saathi Card. The card helps in providing health insurance up to Rs. 2 lakh, along with free annual check-ups and discounts on medical bills and treatment services. Ration supplies can also be purchased through the card. YRF is also providing an allowance for school fees, stationery, and uniforms.

There is no denying that the deadly Coronavirus has gravely affected the entertainment industry as well and crippled its financial growth as well. YRF has launched Yash Chopra Saathi Initiative to provide minimum basic support to thousands of workers and daily wage earners and transfer at least Rs. 5000 to the women and senior citizens of the industry.
Aditya Chopra has also planned to roll out vaccines to the Hindi Film fraternity which helped shoots to restart after Covid-19 restrictions had been levied to a certain extent. Aditya Chopra had also credited money into the accounts of the daily wage earners and provided them with help financially.
As per reports, it is believed by Aditya Chopra that the Saathi Card is a way of being a support system and a friend to the daily wage earners of the B-town who are the very backbone of the Hindi film industry.
