After Karan Johar’s Dostana And Shah Rukh Khan’s Goodbye Freddy, Has Kartik Aaryan Lost Out On Another Film?

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan seems to be on a streak lately, but unfortunately, it’s not for the right reasons. Earlier this year, it was reported that Kartik Aaryan will be doing a bunch of films with renowned names from the industry. But lately, either he’s been quitting projects or the actor is being dropped by the makers. Recently, there was a rumour going around about the actor being dropped from Aanand L Rai’s gangster film as well. But is that true? Read on to find out.

Recently, it was reported that Kartik Aaryan is in talks with ace director Aanand L Rai for his upcoming film, although just after that a rumour started making the rounds that the actor might not be a part of it after all. According to reports, Kartik was in talks with the director since February. But just before he could sign the film, things fell apart. It was also said that Ayushmann Khurrana will be replacing Kartik for this role.

However, the spokesperson from Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions has released a statement crushing all the rumours. According to the statement, they’re still in talks with Kartik about the film that they want to do with him. Meanwhile, the statement also clarified that they are planning to do a film with Ayushmann as well, although it’s not the same film. The statement called it a “mix up” and rubbished all the rumours about dropping Kartik.

Earlier it was reported that Kartik Aaryan will be a part of Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 alongside Janhavi Kapoor and Lakshya in leading roles. However, things didn’t go as planned and Kartik was dropped from the film. Recently, it was also reported that the actor quit Goodbye Freddy which was being produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, due to creative differences.
