Devan is a martial arts trainer who falls in love with a school teacher. In order to meet her, he takes his wingman Chinnan and joins her tuition class. Yes, you guys read that right! Jai Dhanush aka Devan from the Malayalam serial Alliyambal is not a Malayali. He was born in Hyderabad, Telangana and is a Telugu by birth. The actor deserves all the praise for handling the role of Devan who is a hardcore Malayali from Alappuzha.

Imagine having to romance with the heroine while your wife watches as the villainess. Jai Dhanush shared the screen with the villainess Archa aka Keerthi from Alliyambal who is his wife in real life. The actor played the lead in the Tamil film Pothe Poni and then gained widespread attention for his unique style of acting.
