Aryan Khan Case Officer Sameer Wankhede To Continue The Investigation; His Wife Kranti Redkar Shares Official Press Release By NCB

Sameer Wankhede is the officer in Narcotics Control Beaurea (NCB) and is very much part of the Aryan Khan case. It was said that six cases being investigated by NCB officer Sameer Wankhede including the Aryan Khan drugs case have been transferred out of the agency’s Mumbai unit amid allegations of extortion and a ₹ 8 crore payoff linked to the case involving Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son.
Amid this, the senior official spoke to a leading daily that on condition of anonymity and said that the SIT formed in these six cases will only help Wankhede and the team investigate these cases even better. The official also said that there is a certain section that has been excited about the rumoured exit, but Wankhede is not going anywhere and he will continue to work on the case. The official added that Sameer Wankhede and his Mumbai Zonal team will work with the SIT in the Aryan Khan and other five cases including Samir Khan and Armaan Kohli case.

Kranti Redkar, the wife of NCB officer Sameer Wankhede and Marathi actress, has shared the photo of the official press release on her Twitter handle. Sharing it, Kranti wrote, “DO NOT FALL PREY TO RUMOURS. This is the official press release by the NCB.” Earlier she took a press conference and cleared the air off Sameer Wankhede’s side. She is in constant support of her husband in his tough time.

The Deputy Director-General of Operations of NCB Sanjay Singh has said in the press note that no officer has been removed from the present roles and will continue to assist the operations branch investigation as required until any specific orders are issued to the contrary. The officer further added that it is quite clear that Sameer Wankhede continues to be in the same role and will be assisting the SIT. The two teams together will be able to investigate these cases even better.
