In the previous episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Rano, Shalu, and Bani arrive at the Oberoi residence to meet with Lakshmi. Harleen reminds Aayush of his responsibilities, and he seeks assistance from Shalu. Rano interjects, stating that she will send Neha instead. Lakshmi gives everyone food, and Rano and Harleen compliment her etiquette. Meanwhile, Balwinder seeks refuge at Malishka’s home and encounters Kiran. A fierce dispute between the two occurs, and she asks him to leave. Back at home, Malishka recalls Harleen’s statements and feels offended. She expresses her rage to Rishi and inquires as to why he is still married to Lakshmi. She proposes a condition and requests that Rishi prevent Lakshmi from fasting. He declines, which surprises her even more. Rano notices Aayush and Shalu talking to one other. She speaks up and takes a seat in the front seat of the car. Later, Malishka continues to argue with Rishi, who claims that only Lakshmi, as his wife, can keep the fast for him. Malishka is sceptical of his comments and questions if he still loves her. Harleen arrives, and Lakshmi instructs Rishi to take Malishka home. Later, Malishka is upset by the events and Rishi’s icy behaviour toward her. She yells at him to stop and walks out onto the street. Rishi recalls Malishka’s earlier attempt to kill herself and follows her.
In the next episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Balwinder hides from Rishi, who comes to Malishka’s house. Shalu tells Bani that she wishes for Rishi and Lakshmi to stay together and never divorce. Neelam tells Lakshmi to keep the fast for Rishi, wholeheartedly. Kiran tells Malishka that she has to make sure Lakshmi breaks her fast. Lakshmi promises Neelam that she won’t let anything bad happen.
