FIR Filed Against Jackky Bhagnani And 8 Other People After A Model Accuses Them Of Rape And Molestation

Jackky Bhagnani along with famous photographer Colston Julian and KWAN Entertainment’s founder Anirban Blah among others have been booked under the charges of rape and molestation that occurred between 2014 and 2019.

Bollywood actor turned producer Jackky Bhagnani has been accused of rape and molestation by a model in Mumbai. Along with Jackky, 8 other high-profile people from Bollywood have been named by the model. An FIR was registered by the model turned songwriter on 26 May 2021, at the Bandra police station, naming 9 influential people from the industry including Jackky Bhagnani.

Names of the accused

According to the report, some renowned names from the list of accused are, actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, famous photographer Colston Julian, founder of talent management agency KWAN Entertainment, Anirban Blah, Krishan Kumar from T-Series, Aha CEO Ajit Thakur, Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamat and producer Vishnu Indur. Apart from this, the list also includes Sheel Gupta, Gurujyot Singh and others, who are accused of rape and molestation by the actress.

When it all happened

The model-songwriter has claimed that the alleged sexual assault happened between the year 2014 and 2019. She also added that this was done on the pretence of giving her work. She has accused photographer Colston Julian of raping her on the pretence of giving her a chance in a movie. Whereas, Jackky has been accused of molesting her on multiple occasions. In an interaction with the media, the complainant alleged that no arrests have been made so far. Meanwhile, she also expressed her concern over Colston going underground.

Sections filed

As per the FIR filed by the complainant, the accused have been booked under Section 376 (committing rape repeatedly on the same woman) and 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code. The Police said that the investigation is underway and that they are verifying all the pieces of evidence submitted by the complainant. However, no arrests have been made in this matter so far.
