Hindu Girl Students In Aligarh Muslim University Forced To Wear Hijab

There have been latest news reports of discriminatory incidents at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in Uttar Pradesh. It has come to light that Hindu girls are being forced to wear hijabs and burkhas at AMU. Moreover, they are asked to cover their faces with hijabs. Inappropriate comments are also passed at them in the campus, which is quite stressful for the students. Several girls have shared such incidents on social media platforms, wherein they wrote that they are being forced and threatened to cover their faces.

A complaint was registered with the college authorities and the local police. Cops have taken note of this incident and have assured that a thorough investigation will take place. The university has also promised that strict action will be taken against those found guilty.
