2020 was a busy year for Queen star Kangana Ranaut and she was constantly in the headlines, for all reasons wrong. Always taking the limelight on herself, Kangana made some of the most controversial statements and took up some heavy fights this year. Wanting to prove herself as the ‘righteous one’, Kangana’s fights with industry peers, politicians, and even the state government, constantly kept coming all while she played victim to harassment and threats. Hate on Nepotism

Kangana’s problem with ‘nepotism’ is known to all. Starting from her appearance in Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan in 2017, she never really calmed down on the topic. From openly slurring hate on Ranbir Kapoor to calling Sonam Kapoor to be the ‘Mafia Bimbo’, she kept her fight going on and openly smashed some of her industry peers for being born into famous families.

Bollywood and Drugs

Kangana made headlines yet again when she released a statement calling out the entire Bollywood for doing substance abuse. The Queen actor said this while NCB was said to be looking into a drug angle in Shushant Singh Rajput’s death probe. Kangana named Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, asking them to do a dope test. However, all of the allegations were made without any solid proof.

Kangana vs Shiv Sena

The actor took a step for the worse when she compared the state government of Maharashtra to Taliban, comparing Mumbai to ‘Pakistan-controlled Kashmir’. The statement was followed by a political storm as Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, lashed out at the actor’s remarks. Later, BMC demolished a part of her residence, claiming it to be an illegal construction, to which Ranaut responded with even more harsh remarks.

Twitter Clash with Diljit

Diljit Dosanjh trended on Twitter after calling out Kangana for her false remarks on the ongoing farmer’s protests. He pointed out that she was against the farmers and had misidentified an elderly woman as Bilkis dadi from the Delhi’s CAA protests alleging that she would appear in any protest for Rs 100. Diljit came forward with a series of fitting replies educating Kangana on the matter. However, Kangana responded by calling him Karan’s pet that initiated a Twitter event among celebrities who lashed out at the actor for stomping down on a fair protest.
