If Friends Was Remade With Hindi TV Actors, Who Would Play Who?

ZEE5 is exclusively streaming FRIENDS: The Reunion for all its premium subscribers and we can’t keep calm! While the cast of this incredible American sitcom reunites after such a long period, we couldn’t help but notice all the times TV shows have tried a similar concept. In fact, Zee TV even had its own Indian version of the show titled, Hello Friends. But what if FRIENDS was made now? Who all from the Zee TV shows leads would be a part of it? More importantly, who’ll play who? Read on to find out what we think.

Chandler – Jogi

Could there be anybody better than Jogi(Adhvik Mahajan) from Teri Meri Ikk Jindri to play Chandler’s character? We don’t think so, and here’s why. Both the guys have a lot of similarities. Both Jogi and Chandler have amazing hair, an infectious smile and a killer sense of humour. Moreover, Jogi also falls in love with his best friend Mahi, just how Chandler fell in love with his best friend Monica.

Monica – Navya

Nobody from the Zee leads will fit better for the role of Monica, than Navya (Shrishti Jain) from Hamariwali Good News. Just like Monica, Navya has control issues, which was pretty apparent from the way she couldn’t let Meera handle Bharat. She has a caring and nurturing nature similar to that of Monica’s. And unfortunately, both the ladies couldn’t conceive a baby, and still became amazing mothers to their lovely kids.

Joey – Karan

Who could be a better Joey than Karan Luthra (Dheeraj Dhoopar) from Kundali Bhagya? Both the guys have extremely charming personalities, are smooth with girls, and they’re both celebrities as well. Karan is also a foodie like Joey and tries different combinations of food like his special falooda with chocolate in it. Just like Joey, Karan is also very affectionate towards his loved ones and even acts like a kid around them at times.

Phoebe – Rani

The quirky Rani (Megha Ray) from Apna Time Bhi Aayega is the apt choice for the role of Phoebe. She’s crazy, has her own weird way of doing things and will always get what she wants. The way Rani washed Kiara’s clothes at the beach surely reminded us of some of the quirky incidents of Phoebe’s. She also got married and settled down with someone completely unexpected and both the ladies have still kept their unique personality intact even with their respective partners.

Ross – Neel

Qurbaan Hua‘s Neel (Rajveer Singh) is the perfect choice to play the role of Ross. He’s a traditionalist like Ross, is also short-tempered like him, but would do anything for the people he loves. Neel is also pretty gullible like Ross, which is why he gets deceived by his own family. In fact, his on-again-off-again relationship with Chahat is proof of why he would be a great Ross. Both Neel and Ross love hard and are extremely passionate about their partners.

Rachel – Preeta

There couldn’t be a better choice for the role of Rachel than Preeta from Kundali Bhagya. Just like Rachel, Preeta (Shraddha Arya) is incredibly pretty, is naive at times and even gets excited at the smallest of things. While Rachel had Gunther, Preeta has Prithvi. Similar to Rachel, even Preeta is a softie at heart and would go above and beyond for the people she loves.
