Karbhari Laybhari: From Personal To Professional Problems, 5 Reasons Why Karbhari Has A Lot On His Plate!

Zee Marathi‘s new show Karbhari Laybhari has taken the entire Marathi TV audience by storm. It is a political thriller based on the life of a young man who has extremely staunch ideals and faces numerous challenges to rise to prominence in the political arena. The story revolves around Karbhari trying to keep a balance between his professional and personal life and is definitely one to look out for.

The show highlights several struggles faced by Karbhari, played by actor Nikhil Chavan, as he navigates through his political career while also balancing his personal life at the same time. Here are a few reasons why Karbhari has a lot to deal with on both personal and professional front:

1- Father’s demise: Karbhari’s father, who is also a bigshot politician, is assassinated soon after he wins local elections. Karbhari was quite young at the time and grows up without the love and support of a dotting dad. He follows his father’s footsteps and becomes a politician himself, but not without fighting many battles.

2- Antagonist aunt: Soon after the demise of Karbhari’s father, his aunt Kanchan takes over the head of the family role and starts treating Karbhari and his mother Sunanda like servants. She makes them eat leftover food, gives them odd jobs and treats them in a very condescending way.

3- Promise to mother: Karbhari’s mother Sunanda once sees him holding a flag of the political party his father once belonged to. Fearing she will lose her son to politics as well, she makes Karbhari promise her that he will never enter the same field that got his father killed. Promos have however revealed that he becomes a politician later so it will be quite interesting to see Karbhari’s political journey unfold.

4- Love and Family: Karbhari’s love interest Priyanka is the daughter of Ankush Patil – a politician disliked by Kanchan. In the first episode, Ankush taunts Kanchan for inviting celebrities to their family functions so that people would come. It is obvious that the two families do not get along but promos have revealed that Karbhari and Priyanka get married, so it will be interesting to see how that happened.

5- Trouble in Paradise: Even though Priyanka and Karbhari get together, Karbhari can be seen taking extreme measures to meet the love of his life in the promos. Maybe the makers are hinting that it is going to be a difficult nonetheless a very romantic story. We can only wait and watch!
