Kartik Aaryan Teams Up With Shah Rukh Khan For His Next Project; Details Inside

We are not done yet with the first month of 2021 and it seems like that there is another good news for the moviegoers. First, the teaser of KGF Chapter 2, then Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone confirming their first collaboration and now, current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is all set to join hands with the King of romance, Shah Ruh Khan. Yes, you read it right. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama boy is gearing up to work with SRK for his upcoming film. As per the latest buzz, Shah Rukh Khan‘s production banner Red Chillies Entertainment has locked Kartik for their upcoming project.

Well, Kartik has upcoming releases such as Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, among many others. But, due to the global pandemic, the shoot of these projects has been delayed. And, Kartik was looking to get back to the set and start shooting. According to his schedule, he had nearly 30-40 days so it seems that the actor has got something productive to do until the shoot of his other projects begins.

As per the reports floating online, Kartik Aaryan and Shah Rukh Khan’s first collaboration will be a rom-com. Filmmaker Ajay Bahl will be donning the hat of the director. For the unversed, Ajay Bahl has directed a handful of films, including the 2019 release, Article 375. A report has stated that the upcoming film will be completely different from Ajay Bahl’s Article 375. Moreover, Kartik will start the shoot of the film within the next two months. Meanwhile, the reports have claimed that Kartik’s next will be a rom-com with a social message. Talking about the cast of the upcoming project, finalizing the female lead and the rest of the actors is still underway. However, neither the actor nor the production company has officially announced the project.

On the professional front, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor is currently grabbing the headlines for his project titled Dhamaka. The Ram Madhvani film is said to be sold to a streaming giant for a whopping amount of ₹85 crores. Mrunal Thakur will be seen romancing Kartik in the movie.
