Kumkum Bhagya 26 October 2021 Written Update: Gaurav’s ploy unravels

In the previous episode of Kumkum Bhagya, Abhi explains to Pragya why he gave up music. When she requests him to sing a song, he flatly refuses. Rhea calls Ranbeer stupid for his blind faith in Prachi while he patiently tries to explain to her that Siddharth and Prachi share a purely platonic relationship. However, Rhea refuses to back down and challenges him to prove her wrong. Ranbeer accepts the challenge. Pragya feigns offence and demands Abhi to sing for her as her personal singer. When Abhi still refuses, she gets his guitar and messes with it. This compels Abhi to take the guitar from her and he begins to sing. Tanu gets worried that Abhi is falling for Pragya all over again and expresses her frustrations before Alia, who asks her not to overreact. The next morning, when Abhi asks for Pragya, it ticks Tanu off and she confronts him. However, Abhi gives her a fitting response.

In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya,  Abhi’s harsh words leave Tanu speechless. Just then, Shagun arrives with the police tagging behind her. The inspector informs Abhi that he is here to arrest him on the account of six murders. He explains that the renovations authorised by Abhi led to a collapse of a wall, killing six people. He further adds that the contractor had warned Abhi about such a mishap, but he still insisted on going ahead with the renovations. Pragya comes to Abhi’s defence and calls the contractor, who continues to insist that Abhi approved the plans despite his warnings. After which, the inspector arrests Abhi.

It gets revealed that the contractor lied to the police at Gaurav’s behest and that he had offered him money in exchange for trapping Abhi. A furious Pragya confronts Alia and Tanu who try to retaliate by accusing her of causing all the troubles. Furthermore, Pragya’s suspicions get confirmed when Alia lets it slip that she went to Gaurav’s office. She also points out that only Alia and Mitali were aware of where Abhi was going the morning the renovation plans were finalised. Later, she vows to throw Tanu and Alia out of Abhi’s life.

Suspecting that Gaurav is behind everything, Alia leaves the house, while Gaurav calls Pragya and offers to extend help. Pragya arrives at the police station and expresses her pain of seeing Abhi in jail. After their emotional exchange, Pragya leaves Abhi alone to deal with his bail. Meanwhile, Alia confronts Gaurav for targeting Abhi. He assures her that he will free Abhi but only after Pragya asks him for help. He states that in exchange for his help, he will ask Pragya to hand over her business. When Alia questions his plan, he reveals that he possesses proof of Abhi’s innocence.
