Kumkum Bhagya 29 March 2022 Written Update: Ranbeer investigates the Mahashivratri incident

In the previous episode of Kumkum Bhagya, Ranbeer tells Prachi that he does not want to prove himself right, but to show her he loves her. Prachi begins to realize his innocence. Rhea asks Ranbeer if they could go out on a movie date. Ranbeer tells her that there is nothing between them, but Rhea insists that if there were no love between them, why Prachi would be jealous of them. While walking away, Ranbeer smiles to himself thinking about Prachi’s jealousy. Sahana watches a troubled Prachi and tries to make her realize his love and attempts at proving his innocence. Rhea confronts Prachi and tries to accuse her of being jealous and trying to steal Ranbeer from her. Prachi retorts befittingly and tells her that she knows that nothing had happened between Ranbeer and Rhea on the day of Mahashivratri, much to Rhea’s shock. Prachi further tells her that it is not because she has found out the truth herself, but because she trusts Ranbeer, that she believes what she said. Sahana chimes in and tells Rhea that they have exposed her secret and that they even have proof. She also tells that she has found out about the pills that she used to get Ranbeer inebriated. After Rhea frustratedly walks off, Sahana confronts Prachi about her changed stance on Ranbeer’s supposed unfaithfulness and Prachi affirms it. She further clarifies that while she believes Ranbeer to be innocent about the Mahashivratri incident, she will continue to blame him for marrying Rhea since that was something that he did in full sobriety.

In the latest episode of Kumkum Bhagya, at the office, Jay asks about Ranbeer’s mood and Ranbeer tells him about Prachi’s behaviour and his own mistake with Rhea. As Jay begins to judge him for his actions, Ranbeer clarifies that he committed the mistake under the influence of a mysterious drug. Jay then deduces that someone must have spiked his thandai, and Ranbeer realizes the possibility. Rhea haphazardly comes to Alia and tells her about Prachi and Sahana’s suspicion and their knowledge of her Mahashivratri ploy. Alia assures her that since they haven’t told Ranbeer about it, it must be a half-baked suspicion and they must be looking for more proof. While sitting in her car at the house’s parking space, Alia overhears Ranbeer asking the guard for all the CCTV footage of the Mahashivratri day. Panicked, she tries to contact Rhea and tell her about it while driving. On her way, she runs into Preeti’s boyfriend, Nick. She finds out that he has been in trouble for drinking and driving, and subsequently crashing his car into another’s. He asks her to pay for a bribe for the policemen, and she complies. Nick promises to return the favour someday. Alia dismisses him for the time being. Back at home, Rhea emotionally vents to Pallavi about Prachi and Ranbeer’s growing proximity. She then blames her for not being strict with Ranbeer when he married Prachi. She further tells her that she is completely alone and manipulates Pallavi.
