Kundali Bhagya: Here’s Why Preeta-Shristi’s Sisterly Love Reminds Us Of Pooja-Nisha From Hum Aapke Hain Koun

Zee Tv’s popular serial Kundali Bhagya stars Shraddha Arya as Preeta and Dheeraj Dhoopar as Karan in the lead roles. Preeta and her sister, Shristi (Anjum Fakih) have been joined at the hip since the beginning and have proved to be a terrific duo. They have saved their loved ones and each other in many situations and have been a pillar of strength for each other at all times. Another pair of sisters who were very supportive of each other was Pooja and Nisha from Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Here are similarities between Pooja (Renuka Shahane) and Nisha (Madhuri Dixit) and Preeta and Shristi which are hard to miss!

Support each other

Preeta and Shristi have always been each other’s backbone for the longest of time and have been helping each other face difficult situation and solve problems. Even when people of the Luthra family, like Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) and others tried to frame Preeta, Shristi always helped her to collect evidence in order to prove her innocence. Similarly, Pooja and Nisha were very close to each other and supported all the decisions made by the other. When Pooja came to know that Nisha and Prem love each other and want to get married, she supports their decision and gives them her blessing.

In love with Brothers

Preeta is married to Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Shristi and Karan’s cousin Sameer (Abhishek Kapur) have romantic feelings for each other. Both the brothers love taking care of their ladies and are extremely helpful in times of need. In Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Prem (Salman Khan) and Rajesh (Mohnish Behl) are brothers and are perfect gentlemen. While Pooja gets married to Rajesh, Prem and Nisha develop feelings for each other during Rajesh and Pooja’s wedding ceremonies.

Respects family and traditions

Preeta and Shristi are good girls who have always valued their customs and traditions and have cared for all family members. There have been many instances when they have fought against many obstacles in order to save their loved ones from the evil plans of Sherlyn and Prithvi. In Hum Aapke Hai, Koun, Pooja and Nisha also care a lot about traditions and values. They are well-mannered girls who know how to respect elders.

One is mature and the other jovial

Well, we all know who we are talking about. Preeta has always been the more rational and mature one. She is much more calm and patient between the two and thinks things through before she acts upon them. Shristi on the other hand is more jovial and fun-loving than Preeta and she is quite bold as well. Between Pooja and Nisha, Pooja is the calmer more sensible one, who is a woman of few words while Nisha is a ball of sunshine who makes everyone around her happy and positive at all times.

In one of the episodes, we see that Shristi decides to leave Sarla’s house because her dreams won’t be fulfilled there. So Preeta also decides to accompany her and sacrifices her comfort for her sister. In the same way in Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Nisha decides to sacrifice her love for Prem in order to take Pooja’s place after her death and help her husband and child lead a happy life.
