Mummy’s ever-growing insecurity about Kasturi has made her do something that would drive Saurabh and Kasturi apart!
Mitali Mayekar and Aroh Welankar’s Marathi serial is gaining popularity quickly! Zee Marathi’s latest venture into the romance thriller genre, Ladachi Me Lek Ga is about Kasturi and her affection towards one of her co-workers, Dr. Saurabh. While the adoration is mutual, Sourabh’s mother is one who cannot come to terms with parting with her son. She is one of a kind (quite literally!). Essayed by the veteran actress Smita Tambe, Kamini aka Mummy is a lady don who uses her guns and bullets more than her words, to leave a lasting impact. Kasturi’s family is a middle-class, self-righteous one, in which she is pampered and cared for.

Kasturi’s father is in the police force and his encounters with Mummy aren’t as cordial as Kasturi or Saurabh would have wished for. It is understandable how Mummy reacted in an explosive manner when she learned that her son has fallen for Kasturi. She decided to warn Kasturi’s father. But just like her other moves, this one had to be extraordinary. In the promo, we see how Kasturi’s father warns a young couple and makes them sit in the police van. Mummy arrives and tells him how he would react to his own daughter doing this?
Kasturi’s father trusts his daughter but Mummy shows him a video in which Kasturi and Saurabh share an intimate moment.
