ZEE5’s very recent web series, MumBhai is set in the 1990s’ Mumbai, which takes you in the underbelly of the city, giving a glimpse of the murky businesses that took place back then. The show entails the story of encounter specialist Bhaskar Shetty, who decides to go to any lengths to clean up his city. However, he gets entangled into his friend and gangster, Rama’s (Sikandar) dirty plan. Now that fans are in awe of Bhasker and Rama’s (Angad Bedi and Sikandar Kher) cop-criminal Jodi, here’s a look at similar such dashing on-screen cop-criminal pairs we love.

1. Yudhveer Singh and Abhimanyu Singh in Dark 7 White

Dark 7 White revolves around the murder story of the youngest chief minister of Rajasthan. While all the clues point at Yudhveer Singh (Sumeet Vyas), who is himself puzzled into the situation, officer Abhimanyu Singh (Jatin Sarna) leaves no stone unturned in digging up facts. He has a tough time dealing with a deranged Yudhveer.

2. Simmba and Durva Ranade in Simmba

In the movie Simmba, Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh) learns about his sister’s murder in broad daylight. While he enjoys the perks of being a quirky officer, he realises that his unofficial boss Durva (Sonu Sood) and his brothers are into drugs. The death of his sister changes his life and Bhalerao sets himself on a full-fledged spree to make Durva learn a lesson. The duo’s banter received magnanimous love from the audience.

3. Akhil and Inspector Tiwari

In the ZEE5 Original show, Bicchoo Ka Khel, Akhil Shrivastava (Divyenndu) is madly in love with Rashmi (Anshul) who is the daughter of an affluent lawyer. In a turn of events, Akhil gets trapped into Inspector Tiwari’s(Zeeshan Qadri) plan, a quirky cop who is time and again disturbed by his wife when he’s in the middle of a case. From slaps to slangs, the duo shares it all.

Sanjay Singh Meena, (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) lead the Rajasthan state police and makes every attempt to catch hold of Amarpal Singh. In Ishaan Khatter, Ananya Panday and Jaideep Ahalwat’s movie, Khaali Peeli, Blackie (Ishaan) is a local cab driver who runs away with an oh-so-charming dancer Pooja (Ananya) unaware of the fact that he has welcomed a new problem in his life. Officer Yusuf’s (Jaideep) team starts chasing them and the duo showcases their filmy avatar in the best possible way!
