Meet 28 June 2023 Written Update: Masoom’s request to Sumeet

In the previous episode of Meet, Shagun and Raunak’s plan to impress Raj succeeds. Masoom tries to convince Raj that Raunak is the perfect match for Sumeet. Raj consents to their marriage, but Sumeet rejects the proposal.

In the latest episode of Meet, Masoom seeks Raj’s opinion on whether she should inform Shagun about the fixed marriage. With Raj’s approval, a smile brightens Masoom’s face. However, Sumeet interrupts, expressing her unwillingness to proceed with the marriage. Sumeet believes that love and genuine emotions should be the foundation of a marital union. Raj reminds her of Raunak’s care for her, but Sumeet admits to not feeling anything for him and criticizes Raj for arranging the marriage without her consent. Masoom, frustrated, acknowledges Raunak’s role in saving her life and asks Raj to stop discussing Sumeet’s marriage further. Sumeet shares her acceptance into a London college, bringing joy to Raj who embraces her and expresses his love. Raunak overhears and grows frustrated, leaving the mansion where he encounters Shlok, who mocks him for past failures. Raunak defends himself, claiming victory in life matters. The next day, Shagun praises Punam for wedding preparations, expecting everything to go smoothly. Pankhudi approaches Shagun, who disparages the rose in her hair. Pankhudi grumbles about Sathark’s failed attempt to impress her, and Shagun offers her diamond clip instead. Pankhudi is amazed as Shagun adorns her hair with the clip, suggesting she visit Vani. At Sumeet’s house, Pankhudi mocks Vani’s hearing disability by gifting her expensive earbuds, making Vani uncomfortable. Massoom observes Pankhudi’s behaviour with disdain and questions her relation to the Chowdhury family. Pankhudi reveals herself as Raunak’s cousin and warns that Sumeet’s rejection will impact Vani’s marriage with Abhay, highlighting Sumeet’s hypocrisy. In a flashback, Shagun feigns acceptance of Vani’s disability but sheds crocodile tears over Sumeet’s refusal to marry Raunak. Massoom is stressed, and Pankhudi admires the mansion. Sumeet advises Pankhudi to be sensitive about others’ issues, demonstrated when Pankhudi struggles with chopsticks. Meanwhile, Shagun informs Massoom that Vani’s wedding will be postponed due to Sumeet’s refusal, blaming Massoom. Overwhelmed, Massoom rushes to Sumeet’s room, tearfully pleading for her to agree to marry Raunak.
