Payal Memane “The Kathak Queen”

Being drawn towards the elegance of Kathak form since childhood, Payal Memane has graced the stage several times. She was a part of the 2018 dance reality show but got eliminated midway. Making a comeback, Payal impressed the judges and the viewers with her impressive performances on the stage of Maharashtrachi Lavanyavati.

Pooja Shede “The Rising Star”

Hailing from Pune, Pooja’s dedication towards the art of Kathak gave her prominent opportunities to work in the Marathi Theatre industry. She has worked alongside renowned actors including Makarand Anaspure and Swapnil Joshi. However, it was on the Maharashtrachi Lavanyavati stage that Pooja Shede impressed the masses.

Aishwarya Tupe “Expressive Acts”

Aishwarya entertained everyone with her expressive acts on the stage of Lavanyavati. Being confident and a carefree personality, she surely gave a tough competition to other contestants of the show.

Sayali Jadhav “The Master Of All”

Being a professional spiritual healer, Sayali Jadhav aspires to be an actor. She’s a master in tarot card reading. Her simplistic-yet-creative nature made her one of our favourite contestants on the show.

Sukanya Gurav “The Bharatnatyam Enthusiast”

A student of English literature and an enthusiastic Bharatnatyam dancer, Sukanya Gurav’s devotion towards her art was nothing less than inspiration. She’s an active member of various theatre groups and is also inclined towards acting. Sukanya’s genuine andaaz on the Lavanyavati stage made us fall in love with her.

Kshama Deshpande “The Selfless Andaaz”

Being a former contestant of Zee Yuva’s Dancing Queen, Kshama Deshpande was one of the experienced contestants with a unique appeal in all of her performances. Her confident and selfless andaaz was appreciated by the judges as well as the viewers.

Dipali Naigaonkar “The Lavani Expert”

Though Dipali worked as an employee in a factory, her love for the Lavani dance form kept her rooted in the world of art. Eventually, she became one of the renowned dancers of her town which also paved the opportunity to participate in Maharashtrachi Lavanyavati. Her top-notch performance was a treat for the viewers.

Gauri Jadhav “Being Real”

Aspiring to be a fashion designer, Gauri’s straightforward nature is what sets her apart from the other contestants. Being true to herself, she had very interesting answers to every question in the Q&A round of the show.

Nikita Powle “Atypical Outlook”

Being an architecture student, Nikita has always had a different set of principles and that’s something that made her quite confident about her profession. Nikita’s unique outlook in the show impressed everyone.

Shireen Patil “The Lavanyavati”

Shireen Patil is a popular name among the masses, especially for her performance in the Marathi film Youngraad. Gracing the stage of Lavanyavati, Shireen’s entertaining performance eventually made her the winner of the show.

Prajakta Dimble “Majestic Performer”

Prajakta has been an enthusiastic dancer since her childhood and dreams to share the stage with superstar Madhuri Dixit. Prajakta’s performance and her different approach in every round made her one of the most-loved contestants on the show.

Rigveda Kodape “The Champion”

A sportswoman with a national-level award, Rigveda Kodape is a champion runner. Just like her dedication on the ground, Rigveda’s strong persona on the stage of Lavanyavati left everyone impressed with her performance and her opinions.

These contestants and their inspiring personas ultimately became the soul of Maharashtrachi Lavanyavati.
