More Trouble For Rajat Bedi: Man Hit By His Car Dies; Police Files Death By Negligence To FIR

Rajat Bedi recently hit a man with his car. The Koi Mil Gaya actor rushed him to Cooper Hospital and also informed his family about the same. The incident happened at Sitla Devi Temple near DN Nagar Metro, Andheri. The actor had given his wife a hope that he’d help in all way possible and flew away. The actor didn’t return and the man has now died after fighting a battle for hours. The incident reportedly happened on September 6, 2021 around 6:30 pm.

The victim was identified as Rajesh Bauddha, 39, alias Rajesh Doot, a labourer. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. The Police has confirmed that if it’s confirmed that due to Bedi the man died then action will be taken against him. The victim in the case died on Tuesday late night and that has led to the cops filing a new charge in the FIR under section 304-A of the IPC. The section deals with an accused causing death to negligence.

Rajat Bedi’s manager had spoken to ETimes about the incident and said,”In an unfortunate incident, though it was not Rajat fault as he was driving really slow. Mr Rajesh suddenly came in front of Rajat’s car. He was fully drunk, near Andheri West Metro station. Rajat himself immediately took him to Cooper Hospital after the accident and extended all possible help and support to him, arranged for blood in the night at 3:30 am and supported his family. Sadly he passed away.”

As this unfortunate incident occurred, Bedi himself had reported it to the DN Nagar Police station and admitted the man in hospital. The man was in a drunken state and came in out of nowhere infront of Bedi’s car. The police are checking the nearby vicinity to see if the words spoken by Bedi are true or not.
