Muddha Mandaram: Here’s how the popular Zee Telugu show found its prettiest villain, Neelambari!
मनोरंजन/ एंटरटेनमेंटLike her or hate her, if you watched Muddha Mandaram, you will have a special spot for Neelambari that you don’t fully understand, but thoroughly enjoy.
We all know that the classic Zee Telugu show, Muddha Mandaram, which ran for almost five years was all about the Ghattammaneni family. But we can collectively agree that the show was pushed further because of its unique villains. From Achamamba to Bhavani, the show saw many big and small villains. Some tried to break the family apart and some tried to steal their wealth. But the one who stood out was Neelambari. Her rage and anger lasted for almost three decades and her motive was only to hurt people. But in her sadistic approach to life, Neelambari remained the prettiest villain we have landed our eyes on, in the show.
Watch the first episode here:
For starters, we’d like to draw your eyes to her impeccable style. She often opted for simple sarees. Unlike other villains, Neelambari wasn’t a fan of dark colours and grim mood boards. She loved a good, peppy print and rocked it too.
Like every leading woman, Neelambari had a fashion sense of her own. She loved jewellery, as do most others, but she wasn’t the one to overdo it. More often than not, she showed off one statement jewellery along with minimal additions.
Achamma believed in sending loud death threats, Bhavani believed in doing stupid tricks, Chamundeswari believed in getting 57 surgeries. But Neelambari? She believed in sweet-talking. And as sad as it is, sweet-talking is what got her to kill Deva and Parvathi successfully.
Neelambari had a smile that could trick the best of people, but she also had eyes that could take someone’s breath away, with fear. Neelambari was probably the only villain on the show who got what she wanted without failing too often.
We have a love-hate relationship with her. Let us know what you think of her in the comments section below. Have you never seen the show or do you missing watching it? No matter what the problem is, ZEE5 is your solution. Watch all the episodes of Muddha Mandaram on ZEE5.
