Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham: Here’s Why Surya Shouldn’t Be Mad At Anu

Surya and Anu from Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham, have been defining couple goals for us, ever since we have known them. Surya and Anu understand each other and have a shared value system too. However, Anu put on a dress in which she looked stunning but this did not go down well with Surya. He was visibly angry because of what Anu chose to wear. While we love Surya, and think is one of the finest men out there, we really think he shouldn’t be angry on Anu this time.

Anu’s capabilities aren’t decided by what she wears 

For starters, Anu was also very uncomfortable wearing the dress and it showed. However, what she wore to the meeting had nothing to do with how well she does her job. Surya who has himself battled several obstacles in business, also knows that it is his passion and determination that has gotten him there. He needs to lay off of Anu and let her make her own decisions in life.

Surya needs to respect her choices like he always does  

Surya has always been supportive of Anu and we think that he should continue to be the same in this scenario too. Anu trying something new is a sign of her trying to get out of her comfort zone which shouldn’t be condemned by Surya. He is an amazing boss, and we are sure he will learn to transcend his qualities here too!

Meera dresses that way too

Another reason why it is not fair for him to be mad at Anu, is that he never minds Meera dressing up the same way. He comes across as a little hypocritical as he objects to Anu wearing the dress. He values Meera because of her contribution to his company, and he should do the same with Anu too!

His mother likes Anu anyway

Even when Surya might fail to look beyond Anu’s dress, Sharada warmed up to Anu instantly because she knew that Anu was an amazing person. Sharada might be old but she is also wise enough to judge people for who they are and not what they wear.
