Oohalu Gusagusalade has one of the most interesting premises, which involves two people coming together for the sake of their kids. Will the children be able to warm up to their step-parents? This is an intriguing question that almost everyone wants answers to. The fact that they want to be co-parents so their children get a complete family, is a unique approach that is unheard of. We have heard of people fall in love again and get married for the second time, but this time, Vasundhara and Abhiram get married despite not having any feelings for each other.

The show is full of people that we can take inspiration from, in real life. Vasundhara is a woman who would do anything for her son and needs no help from a man to run a house. The setting that it is set in will certainly inspire other women to become more independent and not wait around for any help. Abhiram too was left alone to raise his daughters, but he never made them feel like something was missing. It takes a lot to pick yourself up and be strong for others!

Apart from this, the show is full of hope for a second chance at love for middle-aged people. Divorced women who are also single parents are rarely supported when it comes to falling in love again. They are asked to focus on their child’s upbringing, as it wouldn’t look good if they would have another relationship,

We live in a society where a second marriage for widowed or divorced parents is not very common. In a lot of cases, it is also discouraged because it is taboo to go through a divorce, especially for women. In the case that their spouse expires, men might be allowed a remarriage, but it is considered immoral for women to get married again. Interestingly, in the show, Vasundhra is a divorcee, which means she is breaking several norms at one. It might be a step towards normalising remarriage.
