Paris Fashion Week: Cardi B wows with her statement look

Rapper Cardi B notched up the fashion quotient with her style statement at the Paris Fashion Week on October 3, where the 28-year-old rapper was seen with her husband Offset, 29.

Cardi B wore a bright green outfit designed by Richard Quinn. The outfit comprised a full body jumpsuit, pleated parachute trousers covering her feet, sleeves that extended into gloves, a floral-shaped bonnet on her head, and green-rimmed sunglasses. She carried off the outfit with elan.

Fashion statements always get extreme reactions so while some appreciated her look there were memes making fun of it. Some said they loved her bold look. But others poked fun by likening her outfit to everything under the sun, from plants to frogs to vegetables.

There were Twitter jokes that her outfit is like Will Smith’s sunflower onesie that the actor wore in an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and some others said she looked like Dipsy from the TV show Teletubbies, another snarky comment said she looked like “a baby booger”.

Cardi B is known to shock and awe with her style statements but the bold rapper has carried it off all with confidence.

She recently got candid about her post-birth experience on Instagram. She had gave birth to a son, her second child, in September this year. She posted the changes her body in her body post delivery. She called her delivery “crazy” and mentioned how she lost a lot of blood during the process.

She rubbished rumours that she got a tummy tuck done which explains how she got back to her slim figure but the rapper said that a tummy tuck surgery is not possible after delivery.

She, in fact, said her “skin is still loose”, she has “a little pouchy-pouch”, and that her face and neck are still fat.
