Paul Bettany Spills Beans On The Leaked Chats Fiasco With Johnny Depp; The Latter Admitted Using Drugs – DEETS INSIDE

Many times in Hollywood, there have been instances where stars have had a falling out, which has resulted in larger concerns. Paul Bettany opened out to a leading daily in an interview after receiving an Emmy for his work in Marvel’s WandaVision. Johnny Depp’s personal conversations with the actor were made public during the latter’s defamation lawsuit against The Sun in 2020.

Depp is an actor, filmmaker, and performer from the United States. He has received numerous awards, notably a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as three Academy Award nods and two British Academy Film Award nominees. Depp made his film debut in the horror picture A Nightmare on Elm Street, before going on to star in the tv show 21 Jump Street as a teen superstar.

70,000 texts were mistakenly publicly disclosed by Depp’s previous lawyers during the lawsuit. Discussions between Johnny Depp and Paul Bettany, who featured together in 2010’s The Tourist, 2014’s Transcendence were amongst the leaked messages.

In a series of texts sent to Bettany between 2013 and 2014, Depp expressed his desire to destroy and drown his then-wife, Amber Heard. Johnny Depp had also admitted to abusing booze and narcotics in messages to Paul Bettany. Bettany characterized the agony of having his communications with Johnny Depp made public as a “weird moment” in an interview with the leading daily.

Paul Bettany also discussed a “months ago” event in which his anonymity was compromised. He recalled a short dispute with his spouse, Jennifer Connelly, in a subway, which was videotaped and leaked to the public, in the interview. The pair were said to be on the verge of splitting up. Depp apparently mentioned his usage of alcoholic beverages and maybe narcotics drugs in another series of letters. Meanwhile, Bettany is said to have responded, playfully suggesting that Heard be drowned to see whether “she’s a witch.”

However, according to Johnny Depp’s lawyer Adam Waldman, it “demonstrated abuse victim’s solitary furious text to a friend”
Amber Heard’s released 2015 recording, in which she admits to hitting Johnny Depp, was also mentioned by the attorney. Depp’s texts, unlike Heard’s recording, do not contain any talks of him hurting the starlet, according to Waldman.
