A few days ago, we lost yet another character in the popular television sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The most loved comedy character of the show Ghanashyam Nayak, popularly known as Nattu Kaka, passed away on October 3, 2021. He was diagnosed with cancer and took his breath last Sunday. The news of his passing was confirmed by show producer Asit Kumarr Modi on his social media accounts. The late actor had the last shot for TMKOC in Daman during the second lockdown when the show’s entire team moved from Mumbai.
The entire crew was in deep sorrows after the sad demise of the actor. Several actors of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah took to their social media accounts to express their feelings on their beloved Nattu Kaka’s death. Now, joining all others is the honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. He took to his official Twitter account and wrote a heartfelt note on Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu kaka’s death.
Taking to his Twitter handle, PM Modi wrote, “In the last few days, we have lost two talented actors who won the hearts of people through their works. Shri Ghanshyam Nayak will be remembered for his multifaceted roles, most notably in the popular show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’ He was also extremely kind and humble.” Along with the note, he also dropped a throwback photo with Nattu Kaka in which the show producer Asit Kumar Modi and Tanmay Vekaria aka Bagha can also be seen.

The last rites of late Ghanshyam Nayak were attended by the show producer Asit Kumar Modi, Dilip Joshi who plays Jethalal in the popular sitcom, Samay Shah aka Gogi, Bhavya Gandhi former Tappu, Mandar Chandwadkar who plays Bhide and Munmun Dutta who is known for her character Babita in TMKOC. Munmun Dutta took to her Instagram account to write a long heartfelt note for the late actor. She even posted a series of photos with Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka.
