Propose Day special: Here’s how Jithu from Allu Ramendran taught us the cutest way to propose

There are a lot of ways to let your crush know about your feelings, some better than the others. While many enjoy a simple ‘straight to the face’ proposal, many like it when you add a twist to it. On this Propose Day, let’s have a look at how Jithu from Allu Ramendran proposed to Swathi and taught us a thing or two in the process.

Allu Ramendran was a fun-filled thrilling movie, featuring the romantic hero Kunchacko Boban in an unusual cop role. However, unlike other movies, someone else helmed the ‘romantic’ role in a Kunchacko Boban film and it was adorable to watch. Jithu, played by Krishna Shankar, was a character that the movie’s fans will never forget.

Jithu’s crush on Ramedran’s sister Swathi was too cute a storyline to follow. The rare moments shared by the duo were adorable to watch. However, Jithu, who fears the little things, was trembling when it came to opening up to Swathi. In what was a God-given opportunity, we saw Jithu picking a shirt that was chosen and gifted to him by Swathi.

Now, Jithu had something in hand to show as a souvenir for all the times he tried to walk up to her and failed. He decides to wear the shirt to impress her. However, he overdoes it and begins to wear it every single day, making it visible in plain sight that he had fallen for Swathi.

Eventually, Jithu manages to put all his courage together to propose to his loved one. This time, wearing the same shirt, he hops on her bus and sits right behind her. As soon as he starts talking, the fear kicks in and his words start to fumble. However, being the confident one between the duo, Swathi asks him to say what he wants and Jithu finally proposes to her.

We see an unsurprised Swathi tell him that she understood his intentions as she began to see him in the same shirt for the last few days. As she smiles for him, we see a shook Jithu get out and run away from the bus. Later, the duo gets together, and their story unfolds. Jithu’s experience showed us that making it obvious to your crush can be a smart move and it is worth a try to propose as it might open up a new world for you.
