‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ Actress Mandakini Prepping For Her Big Comeback To Bollywood

The Bollywood industry has seen a lot of comebacks in the past few years. Many actors and actresses from yesteryears have made their way back to the industry. While several stars have succeeded in their attempt, many of them are still trying to find a good footing in the industry. Amid all this, reports state that the Ram Teri Ganga Maili actress, Mandakini is also looking to make her big Bollywood comeback.

In an exclusive interview with the ETimes, Mandakini’s manager Babubhai Thiba spoke about the actress’ desire to make a comeback in the industry and how she’s already prepping for it. He said, “Mandakini is definitely making a comeback and at present reading scripts and inviting narrations, too”. He also added that the actress is open o working in web series and films, but would want to play “central characters” only.

According to reports, it was Mandakini’s brother Bhanu who motivated her to make a comeback in the industry. He was quoted saying that when Mandakini visited pandals in Kolkata during Durga Puja, he noticed how the actress still has a huge fan following. That’s when he suggested that the veteran actress should start working again. Bhanu also claimed that the actress was offered a prominent role in the TV show, ‘Chhoti Sardani’. However, he added that the actress didn’t want to mark her comeback with a TV show but a film and thus rejected the project.

After almost a two decade long hiatus from the industry, Mandakini has claimed that she wants her Bollywood comeback to be with an excellent project. And thus, the actress is currently busy choosing the best script possible for her comeback to the industry.
