Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan was one such film of our time. The film had everything, and fans couldn’t have hoped for anything more. It was, without a doubt, one of Salman Khan’s best films. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ directed by Kabir Khan, also featured Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. On July 17, 2015, the film was released in cinemas.

So, wonderful news coming in the way for all Salman and Bhaijaan fans is that the film is getting a sequel, and the man himself has made an official declaration about it. In the attendance of SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, and Karan Johar, Salman Khan announced the new ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ sequel at the RRR gathering in Mumbai. Salman further said that the movie’s storyline has already been penned by Vijayendra Prasad.

During the RRR event, Salman Khan revealed the surprising news while discussing how SS Rajamouli’s dad offered him one of his greatest flicks. “So, can we assume, that’s the official unveiling of the movie?” director Karan Johar questioned the actor in response.”Yes, Karan,” Salman responded. To be certain, Bajrangi Bhaijaan grossed over Rs 300 crore at the Indian box office, making it one of Bollywood’s leading five grossers to date.

In an earlier interview, writer KV Vijayendra Prasad said that he was working on a storyline for a sequel to ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’ He told Salman about the plan a while back, and Salman was ecstatic. However, he required a suitable vessel to push it further.

Vijayendra Prasad had stated that he hoped it will happen. When questioned if he had addressed the idea to Salman, he said that when they met briefly, he mentioned to him about the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel, to which Salman concurred and thought it was a wonderful concept.
