Sooryavanshi Box-office Collection Day 5: Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif Starrer Surpasses 100 Crore Mark; Director Rohit Shetty Celebrates The Success

Let’s take a look at how the film starring Akshay Kumar did on its first Tuesday, or day 5. ICYMI, On its fourth day, the picture added Rs 14.51 crores to its total collection. Following a successful Monday, Tuesday’s collections have improved. And in just 5 days, the film has amassed a century of votes. Yes, you heard that right! After the re-opening of cinemas, Rohit Shetty’s directorial has crossed the 100 crore mark in just 5 days.

Sooryavanshi stats are fantastic, as another weekday has surpassed the 100-crore threshold. The total box-office collection in India is presently between Rs 103.09 and 104.09 crores. This is a great relief for Bollywood and theatre owners since this cop drama has been the first Hindi film to break the Rs 100 crore mark since the pandemic began. It has certainly raised the aspirations of filmmakers and exhibitors. Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi has achieved a new milestone. The film, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, has crossed Rs 100 crore, becoming the first film since 2018’s Tanhaji to do so. After a bumper opening weekend, Sooryavanshi earned Rs 11.2 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total to Rs 102 cr.

Sooryavanshi’s day 5 box-office collection has firmly thrust the film into the 100-crore club domestically, and the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer is now eyeing a stupendous week 1 collection in the range of Rs. 115-120 crore net, which would put it head and shoulders ahead of any Bollywood film that had been released once theatres gradually began to re-open across the country, and set the benchmark for other Bollywood releases to follow suit.
