Trending NewsThe Rajya Sabha MP appealed to the PM to get the Ministry of Health’s appointed medical board to scrutinize the AIIMS forensics report of Sushant Singh Rajput
In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Subramanian Swami has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his dissatisfaction over the late actor’s medical report results.
After the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) ruled out any foul play in the Bollywood star’s death, there has been wide public outrage over the same. Now Swami has appealed to the PM to have the report reviewed through the medical board of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
He further added that the postmortem findings by the Mumbai based Cooper Hospital was replicated by AIIMS, despite the former having at least seven flaws in it. Calling the Sushant matter a sensitive subject, the BJP leader requested Modi to help restore public confidence by initiating a government probe.
Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra home on 14 June. The Central Bureau of Investigation, which took over the case from the Mumbai police, has also not been able to find any murder angle in the Kedarnath actor’s case, as claimed by his family and lakhs of followers.
