Thailaivii: Kangana Ranaut’s Parents Say She Should Get Her 5th National Award For Jayalalithaa Biopic

Together, they are always slamming her opponents and hailing her achievements. As Kangana’s Thalaivii readies for a theatrical release, the actress says her parents are already rooting for her 5th National Award for the film. Thalaivii has Kangana portraying the character of J Jayalaithaa, the actress and politician whose life’s work is worth a re-telling. The film is getting appreciation from all quarters. The critics have once again hailed Kangana for being an impeccable actress with a versatility that can cause envy in the hearts of her competitors.

Kangana took to her favourite mode of conversation recently – the social media, and shared a picture of her lovely parents, beaming with pride post the screening of Thalaivii. The cute couple even took to doing the signature post from the film for the picture. Writing about their reaction post the screening the Manikarnika actress wrote, “Mummy papa after watching the film #Thalaivii…said Congratulations for 5th National Award.” For a very long time, Kangana Ranaut had been complaining that she never gets any support for the work she puts in, but looks like her film Thalaivii is all set to change that. Several industrywallahs, took to their respective pages to sing the glory of the actress. Arjun Rampal for one claimed to be completely in awe of Kangana Ranaut as Jayalalithaa. Prasoon Joshi, writer and lyricist praised Kangana’s performance to the skies.
