Simi was once asked how she got Rekha to open up about her life and Amitabh Bachchan. Simi explained that it was pretty easy asking her a question about Amitabh Bachchan. She said Rekha and she were good friends from the beginning.

While talking to Simi on the show,  Rekha had said that she never shared any personal relationship with Amitabh Bachchan, and the media was just making controversies and rumors.

The actress worked alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the 1970s Silsila, and people have liked Rekha and Amitabh chemistry for a very long time.
