The reviews were definitely more appreciative than the film critics. They definitely found it entertaining and joyous. They had the same amount of fun watching it as it seemed like the actors had while acting in it. And the fact that the movie release seems to come at a time of festivities seems to be the cherry on the top for many movie lovers.

What’s the cruise for?
The 2 hour adventure series follows our botanist protagonist Lily, played by Emily Blunt who embarks on a journey to the Amazon in search of a mythical tree that promises to provide a cure for all diseases. In her adventure, she has asked the help of funny yet dependable Captain Frank, played by actor Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock and his pet Jaguar.
Are the critics up for the ride?
The first impressions and reviews are out as soon as the movie finishes its release in India on September 24 in multiple Indian Languages. And the good news other than it’s release is the fact that there is a general appreciation of the movie in the film critic circle. While the movie doesn’t break any new ground in the storytelling or animation department, it is funny and watchable for a relaxing weekend out with the entire family.
