Vijay Sethupathi certainly had a phenomenal year with 2020. From playing the righteous Ranasingam to playing God himself in Oh My Kadavule in a breezy role, he has demonstrated the versatility that he possesses. With his performances, he gave us two extremely enjoyable films this year.

In Ka Pae Ranasingam, Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of Ranasingam who has a beautiful character arc of being a rebel who fights for the village, to someone who moves to the gulf for his family. Vijay acts effortlessly making it seem like a cakewalk, although it is extremely difficult to essay a role like this.

While in Ka Pae Ranasingam, his role was more on the serious side with hints of a playful nature here and there, he proved with Oh My Kadavule that he can do anything and everything, including playing the role of God with an unexpected and elevating suave factor. In Ka Pae Ranasingam, there was a great chance of his character to look inconsistent, had it not been played by someone as talented as Vijay. With Oh My Kadavule, we’re already in love with the amount of swag that the actor has.
